Few days back Myself, my Husband and my little girl decided to walk to the east following the sand and listening to the waves when from nowhere we found this lovely place.
We all know that Algarve is full of English tourists but what we didn't know is that we would also find an Oceanview restaurant owned by English in a Portuguese beach style environment. Coming from the UK this was a very impressive place.

The journey to get to BJs is also amazing, you will walk on the cliffs or on the sand, we have decided to do both options to be able to explore the experiences in each way, highly recommend the cliffs where the view is just amazing.

This is the first thing you will see once you have arrived at BJ's a lovely boat near the welcome sign. BJ’s may be rustic in appearance, but it is packed with charm. We feel very fortunate to be one of the few remaining original beach restaurants – if you fancy dining with sand literally between your toes – we are the place for you! We specialise in grilled fish, all sourced locally and delivered daily so all you have to do is pick from our ‘CATCH OF THE DAY’ selection. For those not feeling ‘fishy’ the menu at BJ’s is packed full of exciting goodies which are created using local produce where possible. If this isn’t enough to tempt you, service is always with a smile, every day is a happy day at BJ’s!
